iOS only lets an app read the clipboard while you're using it, and no App Store app can record it in the background. Open Magpie and a "New copy spotted" card appears; tap Paste to keep it. You can also save from the share sheet ("Send to Magpie"), with Save on the Magpie Keyboard, or with Shortcuts, including Back Tap on your iPhone.
That's Apple's clipboard privacy prompt. You can stop it for Magpie in iPhone Settings › Apps › Magpie › Paste from Other Apps › Allow.
Go to iPhone Settings › General › Keyboard › Keyboards › Add New Keyboard › Magpie, then turn on Allow Full Access. Full Access lets the keyboard read your saved clips; it has no networking code and never records what you type.
Magpie deliberately skips anything iOS marks as a password or one-time code.
